How it works
Delivered to campus does not mean ready for collection.
Mail2Go's golden rule: a parcel becomes Ready only after staff confirm it has been received, registered, sorted and placed in its assigned collection location.
From arrival to collection
Received
Parcel logged with tracking number, courier, size and recipient. Duplicate tracking numbers are blocked. The student sees “Arrived · not ready yet”.
Processing
Parcel is sorted and placed on a recorded shelf. Student is told: “Please don't visit yet”.
Ready
Three checks — recipient, shelf, physically present. Only then is a pickup QR issued and an email generated.
Collected
QR scanned, shelf displayed, ID checked, handover confirmed. The code can never be used again.
On hold
Wrong recipient, damaged, unmatched or not found on the shelf. Any active QR is paused immediately.
Collection rules
Bring your student ID
Every handover is checked against the student's ID card.
Collecting for a friend
Allowed with the student's written authorisation and the collector's own ID. Staff record the collector's name.
Reminders
Parcels still waiting after 7 days get a reminder.
Uncollected parcels
Returned to sender after 14 days (configurable per university).
